You can also read our step-by-step guide on how it works.
Yes. Citroen Van Sales is a trading style of Pure Vans Ltd, an independent van dealer
that has been supplying new vans since 2009. We are authorised and regulated by the
Financial Conduct Authority (FCA reference 667850) as a credit broker, not a lender.
Key points for your peace of mind:
• Most vehicles are supplied via UK main dealers, with full manufacturer warranty
and support.
• Your money is held in a dedicated client account, separate from the main
business account, until your vehicle is ready for delivery (for bank transfer /
larger payments).
• Where possible, we can put nervous customers in touch with the supplying
dealer so they can confirm the vehicle and delivery.
If you’d like any extra reassurance before ordering, please contact us and we can talk
you through the process.
This website is dedicated to new Citroen vans – especially the Berlingo, Dispatch and
Relay ranges.
If you’re still deciding whether Citroen is right for you and want to compare other makes
and models, you can also visit our sister site Discount Van Sales here.
We offer free delivery to most of mainland UK.
• Free of charge: the majority of mainland England and Wales.
• Small surcharge: certain Scottish postcodes, Northern Ireland and UK islands,
depending on the supplying dealer and distance.
We’ll always confirm any delivery costs before you place an order. For full details, ask
our team when you get your quote or see our notes on delivery in How it works.
Delivery time depends on:
• Whether the van is in physical stock, in the UK pipeline or a factory order.
• Any extras such as ply-lining, racking or accessories.
As a guide:
• Popular stock models of Citroen Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay are often available
in a matter of weeks, sometimes sooner.
• Bespoke specifications or special builds can take longer.
Your sales consultant will give you an estimated lead time once they’ve checked
current stock with our dealer network.
Yes, part exchange is welcome.
If you have a van you’d like to trade in when buying a new Citroen van, we can provide a
valuation based on:
• Age, mileage and condition
• Service history
• Market demand for that model
Tell us about your current van when you request a quote or contact us, and we’ll factor
its value into your deal.
Citroen Van Finance, Part-Exchange & Pricing FAQs
We offer the main types of van finance on new Citroen vans:
• Hire Purchase (HP) – for customers who want to own the van at the end.
• Finance Lease – popular with businesses who want flexibility and potential
equity at the end.
• Contract Hire – fixed term rental with mileage limits, simply hand the van back
at the end.
You can read more about each option on our van finance page.
Our team can talk you through the choices based on your budget, deposit and how you
plan to use the van.
Yes. We can arrange Citroen van leasing and contract hire on models such as the
Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay, subject to status.
Contract hire is ideal if:
• You prefer a fixed monthly rental
• You don’t want to worry about re-selling the van
• You’re happy with pre-agreed mileage over the term
For a tailored lease or contract hire quote, visit our finance page or get in touch.
In many cases, yes.
We can consider applications from:
• Sole traders and partnerships
• Limited companies
• New businesses with limited trading history (subject to underwriting)
Lenders look at factors such as credit history, deposit, affordability and, for business
customers, trading prospects. The easiest way to check is to apply for van finance or
talk to our team, who will guide you through the options.
We always recommend you speak to your accountant about which type of finance is
most suitable for your business.
To provide a proper finance quote and decision, lenders may carry out a credit search
with one or more credit reference agencies.
• An initial, indicative quote may involve a soft search with some lenders.
• A full application usually involves a hard search, which may be visible on your
file.
Our team will explain what checks are required before any proposal is submitted and
will not proceed without your consent.
This depends on the specific deal:
• Many of our online prices are shown “+ VAT” (EX VAT), as they’re primarily aimed
at VAT-registered business users.
• Road tax (Road Fund Licence) and first registration are usually included in the
on-the-road price, but we’ll confirm this for the exact van and offer you choose.
Your sales consultant will provide a full written breakdown, so you know exactly what’s
included before you pay any deposit.
Citroen Van Specifications & Suitability FAQs
The best Citroen van for you depends on how you’ll use it:
• Citroen Berlingo – a small panel van ideal for city deliveries, trades and local
businesses needing car-like comfort.
• Citroen Dispatch – a medium van offering more payload and load space, great
for tradespeople and multi-site work.
• Citroen Relay – a large van with maximum load volume and payload for larger
jobs, longer runs and conversions.
If you’re unsure, call us and we’ll match a van to your load, mileage and budget – or
start by browsing all Citroen vans.
Yes. The Citroen Berlingo is one of the most popular small vans in the UK for delivery
drivers because it offers:
• Compact dimensions (easy to park and manoeuvre)
• Impressive load volume for its size
• Comfortable, car-like driving position and modern tech
• ULEZ-compliant engines and an all-electric ë-Berlingo option on selected
models
If you mainly do local or regional drops, the Berlingo is usually the best starting point.
Choose the Citroen Dispatch if you regularly need:
• Extra payload and load length versus a Berlingo
• More space for tools, racking or bulky items
• A good compromise between city usability and motorway comfort
Many trades (builders, plumbers, electricians, telecoms engineers) find the Dispatch
hits the sweet spot between size, price and running costs.
The Citroen Relay is ideal if you need maximum:
• Load volume for large items, pallets or multi-drop routes
• Payload capacity for heavy equipment
• Body styles suitable for conversions (e.g. Luton, tipper, dropside)
If you’re running long-distance routes, carrying large loads or planning a bespoke
conversion, the Relay is usually the right choice.
Most new Citroen vans we supply are Euro 6 compliant, which means they are generally
accepted in current ULEZ and clean-air zones when correctly specified.
• New diesel Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay models are typically Euro 6.
• Electric models such as ë-Berlingo and e-Dispatch produce zero tailpipe
emissions.
Electric vans like the Citroen ë-Berlingo and e-Dispatch can be an excellent choice if:
• Most of your journeys are short to medium-range
• You have access to charging at home or work
• You regularly drive in ULEZ / low emission zones where electric vans may be
cheaper to run overall
They typically offer:
• Lower “fuel” costs per mile (electricity vs diesel)
• Potential lower maintenance costs (fewer moving parts)
• Zero tailpipe emissions in use
We can help you compare electric Citroen vans against diesel versions based on your
real-world mileage and budget.
Warranty, Service & Aftercare FAQs
New Citroen vans supplied by us come with the full manufacturer warranty from
Citroen, typically 3 years / 60,000 miles (whichever comes first) – or as per the then
current Citroen UK terms.
Your warranty will be clearly stated in your order paperwork and in the documentation,
you receive from the supplying main dealer.
All our vans are UK main dealer supplied, so they can be serviced, maintained and
repaired at any official Citroen dealer nationwide.
You’re not tied to one specific dealer – you can choose the Citroen dealer that’s most
convenient for you.
We only supply standard UK vehicles originating from UK franchised dealers – not
imports.
That means:
• Correct UK specification and documentation
• Full Citroen UK warranty and breakdown support
• Easy access to parts, servicing and recalls
In the unlikely event there’s an issue at delivery (for example damage in transit or
missing accessories):
1. Please contact us as soon as possible.
2. Depending on the issue, the van may be repaired at your premises or returned to
the supplying dealer.
3. If an accessory such as ply-lining or a roof rack has been missed, we will arrange
for this to be fitted or replaced.
Our aim is always to resolve any problems with the least possible disruption to you.
You won’t be left on your own once the van has arrived.
• For questions about your order, finance or paperwork, you can contact the
Citroen Van Sales team directly on the numbers shown across our website.
